So I found out recently that they called BS on the so called Bigfoot Body. Now I would believe it was a fake if three main factors had been involved. 1.They had shown the body that is supposedly a costume. 2. They Explained how they took pictures(of it's teeth tongue and even organs) and DNA of the animal and 3.They explain how someone could mistakenly be able to say it's over 500 pounds 7 feet tall and why it took soooo long to figure out it was a costume to begin with?? Hmmm. Im just saying, It's not sounding right to me,lol. But hey we'll probably never know the whole story. Even if it's allot more than they're saying....

PEPFAR Passes 80-16
Three's a charm! July 16th, 2008 at 7:28 pm | posted by Virginia Simmons on http://www.one.org. After weeks of ONE Campaign members relentlessly writing and calling their senators, and great work by so many partner organizations, we’ve successfully unstuck billions of dollars in AIDS, TB and malaria funding tonight! We dodged several potentially devastating amendments over the last 2 days - pieces of legislation that would have put millions of lives at risk. We did lose one amendment-fight, however, so the total funding for PEPFAR for the next five years will now be $48 billion, instead of the original $50 billion. After tonight’s successful Senate vote, the bill will go back to the House and then onto the president to sign. We are hopeful those processes will be swift. Given how much we had to fight to reauthorize this bill this year- this is a great victory for us. Thank you to everyone who contacted their members of Congress to pass PEPFAR. Literally, millions of lives will be saved with this funding.Below, a quote from our Legislative Director Tom Hart:
After the jump find all the proposed amendments, their results, and those who voted for and against this bill.
“
Even as Americans face serious concerns at home, the Senate has proved America’s commitment to providing lifesaving medicines to the world’s most vulnerable people. PEPFAR is an investment in people around the world; but it is also an example of America’s generosity and a critical piece of American diplomacy. By treating and preventing disease and saving lives, we can help to create more stable communities and a more secure future for Americans. Senators Biden, Lugar and Reid are true heroes for their persistence and patience in passing this bill. This legislation received strong support from co-sponsoring Senators on both sides of the aisle, including both Presidential candidates.

Help Fight AIDS, Malaria And TB
Hello again, yes two blogs in one day. I've just signed a petition asking my senators to co-sponsor the re-authorization of PEPFAR, America's response to the emergency of global AIDS, malaria and TB. ONE is trying to get fifty senators to co-sponsor this lifesaving legislation. You can help by adding your voice. http://www.one.org/pepfarsenate. ONE is a new effort by Americans to rally Americans - one by one. So far, over two million have joined ONE in support of a historic pact for compassion and justice to help the poorest people of the world.Together as ONE we can make a difference!
Thanks!

-- Good Morning --

hello again:)Yes it's been a moment since I last stopped by. Been pretty busy doing just about nothing, lol. Life's kinda sucking right now. I am very thankful to see a new day. And appreciating life allot more. BUT it's not going the way I'd like it. Some major updates since I last blogged; One of my favorite actors has passed away August 9th 2008. Bernie Mac. My oh my; say it isn't so, and if that wasn't shocking enough, Isaac Hayes died the next day. Wow. Life is simply not promised, and it's scares me at times. I try to live by my saying.... Don't live in fear of death but in love of life. Because death is inevitable. But I must admit I'm still afraid of it. I just hope in my time here that I accomplish all that I dream to accomplish. That I conquer my greatest fears and touch many lives in a positive way. I have so much time on my hands right now and not much to do with it. I'm feeling very anxious, tired but wide awake. I've been constantly looking for a job, so many bills to pay with no income. I've had better days. I try my best to be optimistic, but it's getting harder everyday. I can't wait for the elections. As many people may be doing I am voting for OBAMA! I want to see change and I truly believe he's more than capable of giving this country just that. The elections have brought out allot of racism & hate and it saddens me to know how far we've come and how many people still live in ignorance. I hope things get better. That's all I have left is hope. And faith in God that everything I go through happens for a reason. Though I may not understand it now, I know God knows what he's doing. So all I can do is be patient. -Yawning-- I'm very tired so I'll get back to my blogging when I get up:) It's like after 4am so I guess I should hit the hay. Sweet dreams & gum drops....
